Is the profile really free?
Yes, forever. The base profile — your listing, your edits, your hours and services — stays free whether or not you ever pay for anything. Paid plans add client requests beyond the 2 free a month and the full platform.
Can I remove my listing?
Yes. Use the form at taxscout.ai/cpa/report and we act on every request within 2 business days. You can also ask for a correction there, with or without claiming the profile.
Where does the data come from?
From the IRS public list of tax return preparers (PTIN holders with a credential or an Annual Filing Season Program record) matched to Google Maps business listings. The full description, refresh schedule and what we leave out are at taxscout.ai/cpa/about-the-data.
How do I get the founding firm price?
Claim your profile, then pick any plan billed annually. The founding price is applied automatically at checkout — there is no code to enter. It is open to the first 50 firms until December 31, 2026, and it is kept on every renewal.
