What shipped, and what it still does not cover.

Every entry names its limitation. A change that cannot name one has not been thought through carefully enough to publish.

  1. Available nowPlatform

Public checkout disabled while billing is in test mode

Every purchase path on the site is now gated behind a billing-state flag in the pricing registry. Stripe is in test mode, so no plan can be bought through the website; the CTA is early access and we set the plan up directly.

    Limitation
The published ladder is the approved commercial model, but until live billing passes a signed payment, webhook, invoice, cancellation and refund test, nothing on the site is purchasable.

  2. Design-partner validationDeliver

Tax-engine statuses downgraded to design-partner validation

Drake and CCH Axcess were labelled 'Direct export'. Against the integration registry's own criteria that label did not hold: no round-trip test has been run, and neither vendor's terms have been reviewed for the mechanism. Both now read 'Design-partner validation', which is what they are.

    Limitation
The exporters in the product are unchanged and still work. What changed is that their existence no longer implies a validated, vendor-supported import path.

  3. Available nowPlatform

Product pages reorganized by workflow stage

Collect, Prepare, Review and Deliver each have a page carrying their capabilities, scope, limitations and per-capability status and verification date, rendered from the capability registry rather than written by hand.

    Limitation
Secondary capabilities — CRM, scheduling, campaigns, chat and the rest — remain on their existing feature pages and are not part of the four-stage narrative.

    Authors index published

Every article byline linked to an author hub that returned 404. The hub now exists, carries Person schema, and states the editorial process plainly, including which review roles are still unfilled.

    Limitation
A named CPA or EA reviewer for tax content and a named security reviewer are required by our editorial standard and are not yet appointed.
