Definition

The IRS Transcript Delivery System (TDS) is an online tool within IRS e-Services that allows authorized tax professionals to request and retrieve client tax transcripts electronically. It provides access to various transcript types, including account transcripts, return transcripts, and wage and income transcripts, giving CPAs visibility into IRS account activity on behalf of their clients. Accessing TDS requires a valid CAF number and proper taxpayer authorization.
