An AI-native platform is software designed from the ground up to use artificial intelligence as its core operating layer, rather than adding AI features onto a system originally built for manual or rule-based workflows. In accounting, AI-native platforms can autonomously monitor firm activity, make judgments, and execute tasks without waiting for human input. This architecture differs fundamentally from traditional practice management tools that were retrofitted with AI add-ons.
